Zion Canyon will be the site of the 2nd Annual Deck Builder Photography Workshop, presented by PDB contributors Kim Katwijk and Clemens Jellema. The workshop is scheduled to begin immediately after the International Builders' Show (IBS) in Las Vegas, and while the minimal $40.00 per person cost for the 3-day/2-night clinic doesn't include lodging or meals, it does cover transportation to and from Las Vegas to Zion, as well as the entrance fee to Antelope Canyon.

In this setting, landscape and wildlife photography will be the focus, of course. But according to Jellema, author of the recent PDB article Better Deck Photos, skills learned during the course are directly applicable to deck photography. Video will also be covered, and evening sessions will introduce participants to editing software that can be used to transform photographs and raw video footage into useful tools for generating new leads and promoting your business.

For more information about the workshop, which is scheduled from January 22 to 24 2016, contact host Sheena Klien via email at deckcritic@gmail.com, or by sending your inquiry to prodeck@hanleywood.com.
