Simpson Strong-Tie says it will donate $100,000 a year for the next eight years to support research on construction and engineering at Washington State University. The money will be used to create the Simpson Strong-Tie Research and Testing Laboratory and support research in such areas as deck safety, concrete durability, and seismic retrofits. Washington State faculty have conducted research with Simpson Strong-Tie for more than 20 years.
