A second-story deck on a Montana lodge collapsed during a memorial event for a firefighter, sending 32 people to local hospitals. The incident occurred at the Glacier Presbyterian Camp on Flathead Lake in Montana on Saturday, June 17, 2017, leaving five people in critical condition. The cause of the collapse is under investigation. According to an official with the state's Business Standards Division, the deck was completed in 2004, after receiving a zoning permit from Lake County and a building permit from the state of Montana.
