I have used both and one other dexstone there are also a couple of concrete pavers each has their pluses and minuses and where they can best be applied if I were doing round radius decks I would use dexstone if I were putting in inserts I would use stone deck. The cost of materials are more than a composite and labor installation will take about a third more time. They are a very cost-effective over the life of the deck. If you put in a wood deck and then add a buck to a buck 50 a square foot per year. In 20 years they will cost the same.

this may be a little late, but just a word of caution...I have experence with Stonedeck and have 1 piece of advice- stay away! The product delaminates and chips and the company behind it is terrible about responding to or handling issues.

With only two reply's I'm not sure if I should pursue this option or not. Are there better products than the two discussed in this thread?
