Europeans have a different take on what we know as the utility knife. As Jesse Wright discovered, instead featuring a sharp, but small, retractable blade, knives offered by a number of European companies have fixed blades. Wright likes them because they're more robust and capable of more jobs than the utility knives U.S. workers are used to, and because they're offered in distinct versions for specific trades.
