Feeney has introduced a low-profile version of the company’s standard CableRail system. Called CableRail Conceal, the system’s fittings are shorter and the end caps are thinner, allowing them to be completely hidden inside the post. According to the company, CableRail Conceal kits have specially designed tension fittings on one end and automatic-locking Feeney Quick-Connect fittings on the other end. The kits are available for 1/8-inch-diameter cable only in prefabricated assembly lengths ranging from 5 feet to 50 feet (in 5-foot increments) that can be trimmed to exact length in the field. Retail prices range from $50 to $80 per kit. For a typical 36-inch-high railing that is 10 cables high, the average cost per running foot of railing would be about $26 (for materials only, assuming the use of ten 25-foot kits). Feeneyinc.com
